Craig Counsell Supports Team Choice To Protest, Says Brewers Likely To Play Thursday

The Milwaukee Brewers decided to take a page out of the Bucks' book by sitting out of its contest with the Cincinnati Reds. Manager Craig Counsell supported the team's decision to sit and believes the team will be back on the field for Thursday's game.

Not like you have much choice as a manager to support your locker room's choices on social justice. So even though the Brewers felt compelled to cancel today's game, the audience of their sport will surely weigh on their future demonstrations. NBA basketball is the one sport (that cancelled an entire day's worth of playoff games) that entertains an audience of people that mostly agree with the protests.

There's no telling how far the players are willing to take this, but we should find out by game time on Thursday.
