After a very close first game in the series, Game 2 saw the Milwaukee Bucks come out firing on all cylinders. They shot a scorching 10 out of 15 from three in the first quarter. That is impressive, but it's also obviously not sustainable. So, we’ve had one close game and one blowout. Are the Heat going to lay down and let the Bucks take the series after the two-game lead, or are they going to punch back?

The Heat have lost three or more games in a row five times over the course of this season. Looking at their record in the regular season, they were a fairly streaky team. In what opened as a pick’em on the moneyline, this game has quickly been bet up in favor of the Bucks taking Game 3. This is a hard game to choose. Miami is 21-15 on the season at home, and the Bucks are only four games above .500 on the road (compared to 16 games above at home.) I like the Heat to win the game and at least try to make it a series.

Luckily for us, FanDuel is offering a promotion of betting $1 on Bucks vs. Heat matchup and get $100 in site credit. Users just need to bet on the moneyline market of either team of $1+ and they get their site credit of $100 the next day, whether their team wins or loses. So even if you tail the Heat moneyline, you’ll still be a winner even if they lose.

One player prop I like is Jimmy Butler getting under 6.5 assists for the game. This is another plus money pick at +116. Jimmy averages 6.6 assists at home and has gone under on 6.5 on seven of his last ten games. This game will go one of two ways for Jimmy: he will either look to get everyone involved and be the facilitator, or he will try to dominate offensively. I am looking at the second option as the most likely and think this is the way to play this.

A side of the game I like is the first half to go over. While it is possible that the Heat look to establish a defensive presence after the hot start from Milwaukee took them completely out of the game last time, I still think this total is just a bit too low. Miami at home is 22-13-1 in favor of the over, averaging 110 points. Milwaukee is 16-19-1 in favor of the under, but the games average 114. The total is at 111 right now, and the over is the play.
