Conor McGregor Shaves Head, Claims He's Boxing Another Legend

What's Conor McGregor trying to tell us with the new shaved head look he revealed this week? Comeback? Just annoyed with the hair and looking to mix it up a little bit? Hungry Conor? Are we about to hear about a fight island matchup that makes McGregor a pile of money? It sure feels like it.

Believe it or not, Notorious fought in 2020. It was a 40-second TKO of Cowboy Donald Cerrone back on January 18 where McGregor burned more calories warming up in the dressing room than he did in the ring.

"I was pushing hard for the season. Multiple opponents, multiple dates offered throughout," McGregor said Friday night on Twitter. "All to take place back to back. Then when covid hit and the talk was that I would have to wait for crowds again, I walked away from the situation. I was waiting long enough at that stage."

He also hinted at what could be coming next.

"I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East," Notorious said. "It will be a true honour to have faced two of the greatest boxers of the modern era, afraid of a fight."

The last time McGregor got in a boxing ring was 2017 when he suffered a 10th round TKO at the hands of Floyd Mayweather Jr.
