Our take: Colorado (-7.5)

Under first-year head coach Karl Dorrell, this Buffaloes team has vastly changed the program’s trajectory. Colorado is averaging an incredible 34.3 points per game with 409.7 yards of offense per game. Granted, it’s a small sample, but it looks like the players have bought into Dorrell’s and offensive coordinator Darian Chiaverini’s strong commitment to the run. As a result, undefeated Colorado has only turned the ball over twice this season.

The Buffaloes travel to Arizona to take on a porous Wildcats defense that allowed UCLA rushers to gain 289 yards on the ground and score two touchdowns last week. Arizona has allowed at least 175 rushing yards in every game they’ve played this season, playing right into Colorado’s run-heavy approach.

Additionally, the Wildcats are riding a 10-game losing streak dating back to last season. They’ve been outscored by opponents 105-67 this season.

With an improved offense that doesn’t make many mistakes, and Arizona’s inability to figure things out on either side of the ball, we think Colorado’s spread is a strong play. Take Colorado and the points.
