Special to Outkick The Coverage from OddsShark.com

The Michigan State Spartans have covered the spread in each of their last seven games against the rival Michigan Wolverines, but they're 0-6 against the spread so far this season and 7-point betting underdogs on the road at Michigan in this week's opening college football odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have also had issues covering the spread lately, as they're 1-4 ATS in their last five games. Alabama opened as a 3-point road favorite for this week against Texas A&M, which has covered the spread in just two of its last eight home games.

Top-ranked Ohio State opened as a 17.5-point home favorite against Penn State for Week 7 at the sportsbooks, while Notre Dame opened as a 3-point home favorite against USC. Stanford opened as a 5-point home favorite against UCLA with those Pac-12 schools meeting on Thursday night. The Cardinal are 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against the Bruins.

Florida State opened as a 9-point home favorite against Louisville, and Baylor an 18-point home favorite against West Virginia on the opening Week 7 betting lines.  LSU opened as a 6.5-point home favorite against Florida, with the Tigers posting marks of 4-1 both SU and ATS in their last five games against the Gators.
