College Football Week 6 Betting Trends

The Texas Longhorns are just 1-6 both straight up and against the spread in their last seven games as they prepare to face the Oklahoma Sooners in the annual Red River Rivalry on Saturday. The Longhorns are increasing underdogs for the matchup at the sportsbooks.

The Sooners (4-0 SU, 3-1 ATS) opened as 13.5-point favorites for the matchup at the Cotton Bowl, but a couple of days later they're now favored by 17 points on the college football betting lines over the Longhorns (1-4 SU, 1-4 ATS). Totals bettors will be watching this game closely, as the OVER is 8-2 in Oklahoma's last 10 games against fellow Big 12 teams.

Elsewhere in college football trends for this week, the OVER has gone 5-0 in Navy's last five games against Notre Dame -- those teams renew their rivalry on Saturday. The Fighting Irish are 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games, but the Midshipmen are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games.

California has covered the spread in each of its last five road games against Pac-12 teams heading into its matchup against Utah, while the UNDER is 9-1 in Arkansas' last 10 games as they hit the road to face Alabama this week. Northwestern is 7-2 ATS in its last nine games with Michigan on tap in Week 6.
