Special to Outkick The Coverage from OddsShark.com

Looking to keep their chances of making the College Football Playoff alive, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are listed as a 2-point road favorite on the opening Week 13 betting lines for their matchup with the Stanford Cardinal. Notre Dame sits at 10-1 straight up and 7-4 against the spread on the season and at No. 4 in the updated AP Top 25, while Stanford is 9-2 SU and 8-3 ATS and down at No. 13 in that poll. The Cardinal lost 17-14 on the road at Notre Dame when the schools met last season, in the fifth straight UNDER result for totals bettors between the teams dating back to 2010.

Top-ranked Clemson also opened as a road favorite for this week, with the Tigers giving 15.5 points to South Carolina as they try to remain undefeated on the season. Ohio State, no longer undefeated after losing to Michigan State, opened as a 2.5-point road favorite against Michigan. As well, Oklahoma opened as a 3.5-point road favorite against Oklahoma State.

Alabama will visit Auburn for their annual Iron Bowl matchup this week, with the Crimson Tide opening as 13-point favorites and at No. 2 in the updated AP Top 25. The Iowa Hawkeyes, a perfect 11-0 SU on the season and 6-5 ATS, will face Nebraska on the road on Friday night in a game that opened as a pick'em at the sportsbooks.
