College Football Week 12 Opening Odds

Special to Outkick The Coverage from OddsShark.com

Right in the thick of the race for a berth in the College Football Playoff, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish can't afford to stumble this week when they take on the Boston College Eagles at Fenway Park as opening 16-point favorites. With no conference championship game available to boost their resume the Fighting Irish will have to continue to impress down the stretch, and they'll enter their game on Saturday at 9-1 straight up and 7-3 against the spread on the season. Notre Dame is 4-0 SU in its last four games against Boston College, but just 1-3 ATS.

Clemson, the top team in the AP Top 25, opened as a 29-point favorite at home against Wake Forest for Week 12, while No. 2 Ohio State opened as a 13-point favorite at home against Michigan State. According to the OddsShark College Football Database the Spartans are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games heading into this matchup.

Oklahoma State and Iowa join Clemson and Ohio State at a perfect 10-0 SU on the season heading into Week 12, and the Cowboys opened as a pick'em at home for their game against Baylor while the Hawkeyes opened as 17-point favorite at home against Purdue. The total has been an OVER result in four of Iowa's last five home games.
