OutKick founder has made his NFL playoff predictions, and if you believe him, then you can bank on the Tennessee Titans.
“I believe the Titans will be rolling into the AFC Championship game,” Clay said.
For the record, FanDuel lists the Titans as 3.5-point favorites for this week’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs are favored over the Buffalo Bulls (at 1.5 points) in the other AFC game, and the Green Bay Packers are favored over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC (5.5 points). Finally, the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers are FanDuel’s pick over the Los Angeles Rams (3.5 points).
“(As for the) Packers, lots of questions about how healthy you’re going to see Jimmy Garoppolo in this game, going on the road in Lambeau Field against Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay,” Clay said. “I like the Packers to cover this number.”
Clay did, however, pick a surprise of sorts in the other NFC game.
“I like the Rams to potentially pull off the upset, but to definitely cover (the spread) on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Matthew Stafford going head to head against Tom Brady,” Clay said. “Stafford just got the first playoff win of his career. … I like the Rams here.”
He then took the Chiefs to overtake the Bills in a game that “a lot of people are calling the default AFC championship,” Clay noted.

Clay goes on to say “Look, the Chinese aren’t good against the run. Sure they have numbers, but no size. No size. I predict Henry has a big big day, 180 yards plus, and the Titans pull away late, 28-17.”
