Clay: Vandy Kicking Stunt Lands Sarah Fuller At Inauguration

Inauguration day is upon us, and that means headlines. There will be plenty to talk about as the transition from President Donald J. Trump to President-elect Joe Biden comes to a close.

One of those headlines, at least in the world of sports, will include the attendance of former Vanderbilt kicker Sarah Fuller. For anyone who has been paying attention, the announcement isn't a surprise, but OutKick's Clay Travis isn't done calling it was it is: a stunt.

"Sarah Fuller continues to cash in on her fame as a great kicker," Travis said on Monday. "She now is participating in the inauguration on Wednesday to send a message about everything that women can do even though she is the worst kicker to ever appear in a Power Five conference game."

The Commodores had Fuller kick two extra points, which she converted. Her first appearance included some sort of squib kick that some say was intentional, but it caused more conversation nonetheless.

Fuller's career as a football player is now over.
