Clay Travis: Foundation of Sports is Men vs. Men, Women vs. Women

On Fox News Wednesday, Clay Travis spoke with America Reports anchor Sandra Smith about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signing legislation to ban transgender girls from competing in girls’ and women’s sports.

“Gov. DeSantis 100% made the right call,” Clay says. “The very foundation of sports is that men compete against men and women compete against women.

“If you start to allow people who are biologically male to identify as women, and compete against women, you get the exact opposite of what fairness in sports should be,” Clay goes on.

  1. Why not just eliminate weight classes in Olympic lifting, boxing, MMA? And age categories in Powerlifting, Crossfit, etc. Boom, same thing. Tia-Clair Toomey goes from winning the Women’s overall CF Games to not qualifying for much more than a regional in a sex un-defined “division.”
