Clay Talks Gavin Newsom, Deshaun Watson, EA Sports College Football And More

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s approval ratings are tanking, and considering the “atrocious job” Newsom’s state has done in battling COVID-19, it’s not exactly a surprise.

“Everyone is recognizing he is the emperor wearing no clothes, and there is no legitimate basis to any of his COVID restrictions,” Clay Travis says on OutKick the Show. “Schools remain closed. Indoor dining is allowed, but you can’t turn on the television screen. This is Kabuki theater at its most ridiculous level.”

According to the LA Times, Newsom is now in danger of losing his job as governor. “I hope it happens because you need to send messages to governors who did atrocious jobs during COVID,” Clay adds.

Along with Newsom’s failures, Clay addressed everything from Deshaun Watson’s possible destinations to the CDC’s Super Bowl guidelines to EA Sports’ college football release and a whole lot more. Check out the entire OutKick the Show in the video below.
