Clay: NBA National Anthem Drama, Mahomes Hair Controversy, And More

Mark Cuban had taken the national anthem out of the pregame routine for the Dallas Mavericks. That move didn’t go over well for obvious reasons, and the NBA quickly overruled Cuban’s decision. It’s a controversial topic that created a lot of debate.

OutKick owner Clay Travis went in on the NBA during OutKick The Show on Wednesday, even calling the league a cultural divisive lightning rod. He argues that sports should be one of the few remaining places where we don’t have to think about politics, and how a once unifying moment with the national anthem has transformed into something else entirely.

Clay makes several great points before moving onto other topics such as the Patrick Mahomes hair controversy, the second round of Trump impeachment news and more. Check it out below.
