Cincinnati's Christmas Tree Looks Awful, Tree Company Says Limbs Need Fluffing

The 65-foot Norway Spruce Christmas tree put up this week on Cincinnati's Fountain Square looks absolutely awful, but the tree company says everything will be just fine. It just needs a little fluffing. Fluffing a massive spruce with empty spots is probably best left up to the experts, such as the tree companies paid big money to make downtowns look festive for the holidays.

"2020 has been a rough year for all of us, including our tree. Our team is hard at work making this 65’ Norway Spruce beautiful for the holiday season," Fountain Square's Facebook team wrote. "Stay tuned for transformation photos as we get her fluffed up and beautified after her long drive into town."

Basically, the stance here from the event marketing manager is that the tree has to be untied and the limbs need to be fluffed like when you take your fake tree out of the box and spend a couple hours drinking liquor and playing with the branches until the whole thing looks nice and full. Cincinnati swears it won't have a Charlie Brown tree when all the fluffing is done.
