Children Of Milwaukee Bucks Owners Show Support For Boycott

The Milwaukee Bucks' decision to boycott Game 6 of its series against the Orlando Magic is being met with praise from the children of the Bucks ownership group. Alex Lasry, Bucks Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Business Operations, and Mallory Edens, who has gained stardom as the daughter of Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, wasted no time sending support to the Bucks.

"Some things are bigger than basketball. The stand taken today by the players and org shows that we’re fed up. Enough is enough. Change needs to happen. I’m incredibly proud of our guys and we stand 100% behind our players ready to assist and bring about real change," Lasry, son of Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry, wrote on social media.

Alex Lasry, who served in the Obama White House, tweeted out "looking to close out around 1 today!! Let’s also arrest the people who murdered Breonna Taylor and those who tried to murder Jacob Blake," just before the Bucks decided to not play today's game.

"Brave. So proud to be a @Bucks fan. Bigger than basketball," Mallory Edens tweeted in support.

Alex Lasry wrote Monday that "senseless acts of murder and attempted murder need to stop. There needs to be consequences these actions. #BlackLivesMatter."
