Celtics’ star Jayson Tatum has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania. He’s expected to miss 10-14 days due to COVID protocols, which, for obvious reasons, is a major blow.
Per source: Jayson Tatum tested positive for Covid today, and is now awaiting the results of a confirmation test. He is asymptomatic.— Mark Murphy (@Murf56) January 9, 2021
Good sign for Celtics’ fans that Tatum is feeling fine, but unfortunate to lose any part of that two-man Tatum-Brown duo. Both Boston guards are averaging over 27 points/game, so coach Brad Stevens has his hands full the next few weeks.
We’ll keep you guys updated with more details as they come.
