Carrie Underwood's Back For Another Season Of Sunday Night Football on NBC

In a year full of depressing moments, there was a bright shining light that you might have missed this week. Carrie Underwood is back for her job with Sunday Night Football. She's had the role since 2013 when Underwood took over for Faith Hill in an official torch passing.

Little trivia for you guys to drop at the bar this weekend. The SNF opening montage has been handled by three women: Pink (2006), Hill (2007-12) and Underwood (2013-2020).

"Been waiting all summer to announce this! Super excited to be back for another season!" Underwood said on Instagram.

The feeling is mutual between Underwood and her team at Sunday Night Football.

"We've been waiting for this one! 👑🤩 @carrieunderwood returns for another season of SNF with a brand new show open unlike any other we've done before," SNF on NBC posted on Instagram this week.

Carrie, Al, Cris and the team return Thursday, September 10 for Texans-Chiefs in what should be one of the more interesting scenarios in NFL history with attendance reduced to 22% capacity.
