As I started scrolling through the photos of Danny Manning’s house that’s for sale in Winston Salem, NC, I saw a pretty typical athlete real estate listing. It has a nice open floor plan that drives the ladies nuts, a beautiful kitchen, and the normal sitting rooms that are never used. Then I made it to the real action: the patio pool area!
BINGO! Now we have ourselves a post. Danny Manning is rolling with one of the most impressive patio/pool combos you’re going to see, especially if you want to do some nude sunbathing without having to worry about the neighbors. Danny’s pool area is a literal fort with zero second-story houses with the ability to see inside the party zone.
Hate the sight of neighbors? Hate grass? Danny Manning has your dream house. It’s all yours for $1,450,000.
From Danny’s realtor Dee Parker with Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Carolinas Realty:

A one of a kind property! Shown by listing agent with appointment. Matterport tour available. Supplemental info sheet can be provided to seriously interested parties.
Dee gets it. She knows that pool area is about as great as it gets if privacy is the goal. In fact, I’d love to build a wall like this around my yard on two sides to block out the idiots who I have to deal with. Danny just put a thought into my head with this one. Build it so high that the idiots can’t see the rager going on in the saltwater pool.
Only in my courtyard pool dream, I have a five-foot by five-foot square of grass to stick my feet in. Not a ton of grass, just enough to get the feel when the flops are off.
• 6 miles to the nearest Starbucks
• 5.9 miles to Whole Foods
• 6.8 miles to the Wake Forest basketball arena where Danny used to work
• 4.6 miles to the nearest country club
• 6 miles to Total Wine & More
Mortgage: $6,800 or so, but keep in mind your landscaping costs are going to be dirt cheap because there’s very little yard and that massive wall around the place is maintenance-free.
