Buck Sexton: Southwest Cancellations Show Value Of Pushback

Southwest Airlines cancelled more than 1,800 flights over the weekend, and some suspect it's a result of the company's vaccine mandate for pilots and other employees, as relayed by OutKick's Bobby Burack.

The list of skeptics includes Sen. Ted Cruz, as well as multiple other politicians and even some members of the media. For instance, Buck Sexton addressed the topic on the Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show on Monday.

"You're seeing people that are finally saying if we don't draw a line here on the vaccine mandate for airline employees, it is obvious the next step is going to be vaccination mandates," Buck said.

He then added that a lot of it will depend on if the reported COVID-19 cases remain high in the winter.

"Which I think is likely, but I can't tell you that for sure," Buck added. "Unlike Fauci, I don't pretend to know anything. And I'm actually right a lot more than Fauci is, but that's a whole other conversation. Isn't that amazing. I'm not the only one, but people without MD's are somehow more right about the science than Fauci is.

"We see this and we finally understand that if people push back effectively, if they work together, they can actually create a different strategic .. calculation of the risks for the other side."
