Buccaneers' Flight To Charlotte Delayed For Five Hours

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are waiting for another game to try to erase the memory of last week's blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints.

But for five hours on Saturday, the Buccaneers found themselves waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting some more as they sat on a plan bound for Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Bucs spent so much time cooped up on the runway because of a mechanical issue. With the plane, that is -- not the team.

Of course, when you lose 38-3 in your previous game as the Bucs did, there may be some kinks to work out with the team, too.

At last check, the Buccaneers were taking off and headed for the quick flight -- or what normally is a quick flight -- from Tampa to Charlotte.

So an opportunity to prove they're better than the team that got blasted vs. the Saints will indeed come Sunday vs. the Panthers. We think.
