Watch As Bryan Reynolds Continues To Make Perfect Throws Home

The Pittsburgh Pirates are terrible. The team is 2-8 -- and on the way to being 2-9 at the time of this writing, trailing Minnesota 6-1. The Battlin' Bucs were among our "Best Bets" in the preseason to be under 25.5 wins on the year and that looks like money in the bank.

That said, if you are a diehard and watch every day anyways, you will have been treated to one of the best defensive starts to the season with left fielder Bryan Reynolds gunning down runners every other day. Through the first 11 games he already has four assists. Three of them at home and he added another today.

For the rest of you, check out today's victim: Jorge Polanco.

Reynolds was acquired from the Giants as an afterthought in the dumping of Andrew McCutchen -- a money saving move that also landed Kyle Crick and $500K -- but has blossomed into one of the lone bright spots for the organization.

Reynolds did not make the club out of Spring Training in 2019 but after injuries to other starters was called up and shined. He went to finish fourth in the NL Rookie of the Year voting and picked up right where he left off last year.

If you want to check out more of his throws, here are the other two frozen ropes he sent to the dish.
