Bruce Arians (Finally) Has Positive Comments About Tom Brady

Some have questioned this season whether Bruce Arians has any love for Tom Brady. It took him awhile, but we can finally say that the Tampa Bay head coach is a fan of his new quarterback.

Arians had something positive to say about Brady on Wednesday morning. During a segment on the NFL Network's Good Morning Football, he praised how much the six-time Super Bowl champ's presence has impacted the younger guys.

"It's been a joy. It's been awesome," Arians said. "I didn't know that Tom took so much time with the young players and coached them. It's one thing for me to say 'When you're coming out of your break, your arms aren't pumping,' and they say 'Sure.' Then Tom says it, they go 'Oh, really?' And they do it.

"It's like, I appreciate you, brother. It's like having another coach on the field for sure."

It's certainly paying off on the field too. The Buccaneers are 10-5 this season, and they have clinched their first playoff berth since 2007. While we haven't seen Prime Brady consistently this season, he has been an X-factor for the team.

Through 15 games, the former Patriot has completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 4,234 yards, 36 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. It's the most passing touchdowns Brady has thrown since the 2015 season, when he also had 36.

It has certainly been nice to see these passing numbers without the matching interceptions. And it's nice to see some camaraderie between the two men.
