Browns Fans Go To War With Johnny Manziel After Chiefs Loss

Johnny Manziel, who seemed to have rebuilt his relationship with Browns fans after a disastrous NFL career, decided to ram a Stephen A. Smith GIF through the hearts of fans who just watched their team lose a heartbreaker to Kansas City.

The retired NFL quarterback, who hung up the cleats after a 2-6 record with seven touchdown passes and five interceptions, was quiet on social media until he posted an image of Screamin' A. suckin' on a smoothie and looking pleased at the loss to the Chiefs. Browns fans took the tweet as a shot at them.

"You mf’s jumping to conclusions," John Football fired back before following up with "thank you Jimmy Haslam."

"People can’t take L’s in 2021. Grow up shit happens," Manziel added before Toledo CBS-affiliate anchor Mel Andrews decided she wanted a piece of the retiree. It wasn't the best burn in the history of affiliate anchors taking shots at retired quarterbacks, but it fired up Manziel enough to return fire.

Manziel followed that up by continuing to take shots at Browns fans. This is definitely the fight most observers didn't see coming after Baker and the Browns fell short. It appeared Browns fans would be furious with Kevin Stefanski punting on 4th down with five minutes to play, but now there's a good chance Browns fans will be boiling mad at their former quarterback hero instead come Monday morning when the sports talk shows start taking calls.
