3 Bets for Browns-Bengals, Thursday Night Football

Before tonight’s Thursday Night Football‘s Browns-Bengals matchup, sign up for the FanDuel Sportsbook here.

Let’s look at the best bets of the night, via FanDuel:

Joe Burrow 1.5 TDs:  Over +130.

Joe Burrow shines when the lights are brightest and they will be directly on him in his first NFL primetime game.

Cleveland’s defense is talented but makes mistakes and gives up big plays. Burrow will capitalize and toss two touchdowns.

First Touchdown Scorer

Perhaps the hardest bet to nail.

Luckily, FanDuel is offering enticing value with Baker Mayfield. At +2700, Mayfield is about to make some lonely bettor’s Thursday night.

Mayfield is reckless and aggressive. With the looming threat of an 0-2 start, tonight he comes out firing.

Expect a noteworthy first quarter with a touchdown and a turnover from Mayfield.

Bengals +6.5

Take the underdog. Sunday, the Browns didn’t look bad, they looked confused. Mayfield is just an okay quarterback; OBJ has regressed from star to below average. However, the Bengals are not the Ravens.

In an ugly, Ohio classic, Cincinnati keeps it close and loses to a late-game field goal.

Browns, 26-23.

  1. I think your projection of 26-23 is a good one. I was thinking 30-27 Bengals, so I’m with you. I think we might see some points scored tonight, since it’s a short week of prep for defenses facing some big play offenses.
