Broncos Von Miller Suffers What Appears To Be A Season-Ending Ankle Injury

The NFL Network is reporting that Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller suffered what is feared to be a "season-ending" ankle injury. One witness said this was a "freak injury." The team will be evaluating Miller's MRI today for further information.

Mostly everyone had the Chiefs defending as AFC West winners, but this injury will undoubtably change the landscape of 2020 for Denver. Can't ignore the presence of a Von Miller to help smooth the transition of second-year quarterback Drew Lock.

The Denver Broncos had the 10th best defense in the NFL last year, with Miller at the forefront of attention. Eye witnesses of the injury lead us to believe Drew Lock will be playing in much higher scoring games. Everyone around Von Miller will need to step up to give Denver a chance.

For now, Denver holds their breath as wildcard hopes weigh in the balance of today's MRI.
