Why does this keep happening? And why does it involve a college university so frequently?
Kate Slater is the Assistant Dean at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Kate Slater is not a happy person and seems to really dislike white people. Kate Slater is also white.
As Mediaite screenshotted, Slater spent her weekend discussing critical race theory on Instagram, coming to the conclusion that — wait for it — “all white people are racist.”
Well, that’s helpful and good to know.
“Yes, all white people are racist in that all white people have been conditioned in a society where one’s racial identity determines life experiences/outcomes and whiteness is the norm and the default,” Slater posts. “That includes me! I don’t hate white people. I hate whiteness.”
Pretty sure that means you hate white people and are not a fan of yourself, but sure, go with “whiteness” as a disguise.
I”m not even sure crazy, radical, or angry do justice for someone like this.
Remember, this is not an on-campus cook employed by a third party pretending to offer students discounts. Slater is the assistant dean of a university. She has power over what students learn. Think about that. It’s terrifying.
Between critical race theory, the figures promoted to the youth as idols (LeBron and Cena), what is and is not allowed on Twitter, what professors say is correct, and how police are portrayed — how does this country's future have a chance to think independently?

Love how these “white folks” don’t ever question elected reps who serve poor communities of color about how nothing has changed in their communities for generations. Keeping in mind they run on education and change.
No, see, she’s helping people of color by telling them they are destined to fail due to the color of their skin because white people in positions of power oppress them. But its okay because she acknowledges she is white person in a position of power. Who will continue to be white and remain in that position. But won’t do anything to actually help them. Which is helping them.
I guess you have to be an unabashedly racist progressive to understand how that works.

Putting aside the sheer stupidity of her argument (which is that all white people in America are racist because America is predominately white, which would then also apply to 1.4 billion people in China, 1.4 billion people in India, 1.2 billion people in Africa and 650 million people in Central and South America), here is a logical way to respond to this idiot or anybody else who supports Critical Race Theory:
1. If she’s right and all white people are racist, then this means that she is racist (which by the way she herself admits in the article), which means that she is a bad person, she has no credibility and anything she says is suspect, she should resign her position immediately and basically she just needs to shut up; and
2. If she’s wrong and all white people are not racist, then she’s wrong which means, again, she has no credibility and she should shut up.
Either way, she needs to just shut up

These are the modern version of what we used to call “uptight, stodgy, church ladies”…. always offended, telling us to believe that satan is making you a sinner (and you must believe on faith). In this case, you must believe that you are a racist (sinner) and that satan is everywhere (systemic racism) and you must take this on faith.

I hope she hates “Asian-ness” too, considering in Fulshear, TX, our top ten graduates from a local high school were all Chinese or Indian. Unfair advantage to have parents that prioritize properly?
