Navy athletic director Chet Gladchuk told Paul Finebaum today that Army-Navy will be played in 2020. “Even in WWII, we found a way to play the Army-Navy game…The nation can be assured that, at least, Army-Navy will prevail,” he said about the game that has been played since 1890.
Gladchuck also told Finebaum that the Midshipman will continue to prepare to face Notre Dame on Labor Day weekend and they have a plan to have fans in the stands for that game that will be played at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
This year’s Army-Navy game is scheduled to be played December 12 in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field. Navy leads the series 61-52-7. Navy snapped a three-game series losing streak in 2019 after winning 14 straight from 2002-15.

Chet Gladchuk on the @finebaum Show: We still continue to prepare for an opener against Notre Dame on Labor Day weekend. We have all the logistics in place to do it safely. We are looking at about 30 percent capacity. There is still uncertainty if we will be allowed to go forward

Gladchuk on @finebaum: I think around the first week of August we will have a pretty good idea of where we stand.

This is the US Military way. Never give up!
Bravo 👏🏻
I ADMIRE all the Service Academies, but I gotta say, “GO ARMY…BEAT NAVY!!!”

God Bless America. I bet Finebaum died a little on the inside when he was told this. He seems have channeled his crotchetiness into being a full-time negative Nancy about playing college football this season.
