Robert Littal, the founder of Black Sports Online, was accused over the weekend on social media of mistreating women writers. There were two threads in particular from women who included screengrabs of abusive messages in the context of their work (to see the full screengrabs, click through the tweets to open them on a new page).
Here was the first:

So anyway, this was the incident that literally took the cake. We have a groupme and there were multiple conversations that were inappropriate that took place in the work chat. I never discussed my sex life with anyone in that chat. I would check in and check out.

A white writer we had at the time @LastAngryFan made a sexually inappproritw joke regarding what he believed I was planning to do with the rest of my day off from writing. Something along the line of me having sex with with some military men…something highly inappropriate

to find out that this man is still being inappropriate with his former female staff makes me sick to my stomach. After I left BSO he took my name off all of my articles, and I wrote over 1000 FOR FREE
