Big Balls Bill de Blasio Claims He's Reopening NYC 100% On July 1

Would you look at the set of balls on the mayor of New York City? Big Balls Bill de Blasio is making the rounds today across the TV channels and claims he's fully reopening the city on July 1 and says this isn't just reopening a few things. Big Balls says this is a 100% reopening. That's right, just flopped right out on the table. Those big ol' balls right there out in the open for everyone to see.

Big Balls means business and business is what Big Balls is hoping will come back in a BIG way. “We are ready for stores to open, for businesses to open, offices, theaters, full strength,” Big Balls said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“What we’re seeing is that people have gotten vaccinated at extraordinary numbers,” Big Balls added. “This is going to be the summer of New York City. I think people are going to flock to New York City because they want to live again.”

Would you just look at this guy not scared one bit by variants, super variants, variants of variants and variants being flown in from around the world? How about the BALLS on this guy? This guy is out here claiming people are going to "flock" to NYC, and he's talking about being fully open. This is a very bold stance by Big Balls.

“Hospitalizations down, we’re just seeing a better situation every day,” Balls added. “We’re ready to take that pathway to a full re-opening.”

This lunatic is even talking about expecting schools to re-open at "full strength," as if COVID's been on an extended powerplay. WHAT? Are you CRAZY, BIG BALLS?

Now, let's get down to why Big Balls is talking a HUGE game here. As of January, the 'VID had sucked down $2.5 billion in property tax revenue. Sales taxes for the city were down 18.7% in 2020. There was a massive exodus by renters and apartment owners. As of August 2020, it was feared that one-third of the city's small businesses could be gone forever. And shootings and murders are skyrocketing.

That's right, Big Balls has a BIG problem on his hands. Add in the fact that state taxes are going up and the commercial property vacancy rate at 5.5% is the third-highest on record for New York City and you can see why BLM Bill's now cheerleading.

We haven't even addressed the school system and this "full strength" bloviating from Big Balls. Just this week, the Wall Street Journal reported that 582,000 students have yet to return to the school system and have continued with remote learning. That's 61% of the city student population.

"Leaving children to teach themselves from a sofa might be the greatest untold tragedy of the pandemic," a New York Times subheadline read in November.

Add it all up and Big Balls needs a huge summer out of his city. He needs people blowing lots of money. He needs all the big revenue generators humming. And if it doesn't happen? Big Balls will just blame COVID or rival politicians. Bank on it.
