Biden Struggles To Remember Australian Prime Minister’s Name

President Joe Biden appeared to forget who the Prime Minister of Australia is, opting to use "that fellow Down under" instead.

The misstep occurred during Wednesday's joint press conference with U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison to announce a trilateral security partnership called AUKUS.

During the conference, Biden thanked Prime Minister Johnson before failing to thank Morrison by his name.

"And I want to thank that fellow Down Under," Biden said. "Thank you very much, pal. Appreciate it, Mr. Prime Minister."

Hmmm, did the secret person feeding Biden his lines screw up? Was Biden already checked out mentally and looking forward to a nice getaway to Rehoboth Beach?

Both are plausible and this is just another example of how unprepared this administration is. I mean, how can the leader of the free world not know the name of a prominent prime minister that he's talking to on camera?

Biden did acknowledge Morrison by name later, of course with the help of his old pal, the almighty teleprompter.
