Betting on Buffalo to Win the East is its Best Value on the Board

This season the Buffalo Bills will win the AFC East for the first time since 1995. Moreover, if a full slate is played, the Bills will do it by multiple games, clinching in mid-December before its second game against New England.

It is about the only play left with value on the Bills, thanks to bettors still relying on the name on the front of the New England jersey. You can land the Bills +125 on FanDuel to win the division. Everything else is decidedly worse payouts.

Buffalo is a 10-win team. No one else in the AFC East will be. The Patriots may struggle to go 8-8, the Jets and Dolphins are both worse.

The new additions for the Bills are already making an impact at camp and it only fuels the believe that this is a team to buy now.

A locked in Stefon Diggs, with Josh Brown, and Cole Beasley is a complete receiving trio. Dawson Knox is an emerging talent at tight end with Isaiah McKenzie also being a viable receiver.

Devin Singletary fits the system perfect and could be a major breakout at running back with T.J. Yeldon as a capable backup, even with the departure ageless Frank Gore.

The Bills offensive line has quietly been very good and Josh Allen has continued to develop even as every analyst continues to hate his game.

And -- while you weren't paying attention to it-- the defense gave up the second fewest points in the NFL last year. It then added Josh Norman to go opposite an opted-in Tre'Davious White in the secondary. Good luck scoring points on this team again.

There are only two games on the schedule that I would concede as a loss going into the year, home against the Chiefs and on the road against the 49ers.

There are four more that are toss-ups against the Rams, Titans, Seahawks, and Steelers, but all except the Titans are at home.

Buffalo gets the soft spot of six division wins -- yes, I am banking on beating the Patriots twice -- with the Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, and Cardinals making up the other four contests.
