This Week in OutKick

In case you didn’t hear, Clay sold OutKick to Fox this week. It doesn’t get much bigger than that in the OutKick news department. That side of things has been covered extensively by Clay and all the major news outlets around the country, from the NY Times to Variety to Hollywood Reporter.

Personally, I didn’t read a single report on the sale besides what Clay had to say. I don’t want any outside influence on my brain right now. I’m focused on you guys and what is now a 7-day-a-week Screencaps operation. How long can I keep doing Screencaps at this pace? I don’t know, but the weather hasn’t fully broken in Ohio, so I’m perfectly fine working Sunday mornings when it’s pouring outside. Like I said on Thursday, my focus right now is proving to you guys that I’m all gas, no brake until a Fox executive tells me it’s time to crank it down a notch. Otherwise, I have business clients — you guys — and we’re going to keep cranking.

All that said, I might have to take up a University of Georgia student who wanted to serve as my Screencaps intern for the summer.

Moving along, I like to think I’m up on all the golf gear out there, but this Glove Last is something I’ve never seen before: The Glove Last glove shaper! Typically I just shove the glove in my pocket, wash my golf shorts and it comes out hard as a rock and tight until I build up a good sweat to loosen it up. Get in on this deal and pick one up. I have no idea who’s picking the winner so don’t think I can help here.

I haven’t looked at the sales numbers, but the Weekend at Biden’s t-shirt should be flying off the OutKick online store shelves. Look at this shirt. Just think of the scene you’re going to create when you walk into a bar this summer wearing your flip flops — OutKick’s Hayley Simmons said the flops should be outlawed — and this shirt. I’m 99.9% positive people will want to get their photo taken with you. Having trouble meeting ladies? This shirt is going to help.
