Best NFL Free Agents Still Available For 2020

NFL training camps are expected to open July 28 and there are a handful of free agents still waiting for deals. You have guys like Lesean McCoy just hoping to get that call for a couple more years and then you have guys like Jadeveon Clowney just waiting for teams to put their final offers on the table as a bidding war has broken out for his services.

Clowney is clearly the big prize still out there. The Browns, Seahawks and Raiders are reportedly teams that have offered him deals, but the Raiders offer might be the weakest of the two or three out there.

Let's take a look at guys still available and their recent body of work:

Jadeveon Clowney DE, Age: 27 - Three Pro Bowls; started 11 regular season games & two playoff games in Seattle during 2019

Trumaine Johnson CB, Age: 30 - He's two-years removed from signing a five-year, $72.5 million contract with the New York Jets; missed game time due to ankle injury in 2019

Everson Griffen DE, Age: 32  - Four Pro Bowls on his resume; made 15 starts in 2019; opted out of his contract with the Vikings

Marcell Dareus DT, Age: 30 - Played in six games and underwent core surgery in 2019; Jags declined contract option

Reshad Jones SS, Age: 32 - Has 113 starts on his resume, but played in only four games in 2019 and ended the season on injured reserve via a chest/rib injury; has 21 career INTs

Antonio Brown WR, Age: 31 - You know the talent and you know the troubles. Teams, including the Redskins, have kicked the tires this summer and he's gone through a revival at Deion's Texas ranch; Is Seattle the destination? Pete Carroll tried to revive Josh Gordon's career, is AB next?
