Just what Americans need: more bad news. Thursday, the Cincinnati Bengals announced they are updating their great uniforms for next season.

The Bengals are a horrible franchise and have deserved little attention aside from drafting Joe Burrow. Their uniforms were the team’s sole positive. Yes, they were even better than the Chargers’ bright blue.
Today’s news will go from bad to awful if a report follows that the team’s signature helmets are also going to the dustbins of history.
I mean, look at these things:
Here is an objective ranking of the best uniforms in the NFL:
1. Bengals
2. Cowboys
3. Chargers
4. Steelers
5. Packers
32. Jets (I mean, come on now.)
That’s cap, the Bengals uniforms are outdated. Their helmets are nice but the black uniforms suck. This is the right move on their part.
Chargers have the best by far.
It depends what they look like. I’ll pass judgment when the new unis are revealed.
Bengals uniforms have always been awful. They look like they were designed by an 8 year old.
Helmet shouldn’t change…wasn’t a fan of the jerseys.
Never liked orange as a dominant color…accent color, ok. If the Eagles ever go back to their Kelly green unis they will be a top ten uniform.
I’ve never heard anybody say that they liked the Bengals unis. I think most people are like me and have no opinion one way or the other, and would say they’re boring if pressed for an answer. Like 16th out of 32.
Mike Brown said the helmet won’t change which is good news. I knew they would make a change the year after people bought Burrow jerseys. Probably the best recent business decision.
