Baseball Team's Horny Mascot Is In A Pickle After 'Misinterpreted' Image

A collegiate summer baseball team has yanked social media responsibilities from its mascot, Dillon the Giant Pickle, after a "misinterpreted" image was tweeted from the team's account. The Portland Pickles announced Wednesday that Dillon's mascot takeover of the team's account is over and the team is investigating the image that is supposedly Dillon giving "his fans a thumbs up."

The image, which clearly seems to show Dillon showing off his pickle, had people talking this week and has internet experts thinking this was a ploy by the Pickles to gain some attention.

Mission accomplished, Pickles.

Dillon the Pickle, an absolute social media genius who clearly knows how to get attention, tagged several social media brands that are famous for enjoying a crude pickle-dong joke. Corn Nuts, Oscar Mayer, Skittles and Steak-umm were just four of the nine brands that were tagged by the Pickle looking for attention.

And it didn't take long for people and Snickers to take notice of his crop job.

Wednesday taught Twitter that the social media world can enjoy a dick joke without calling for the employer to fire an employee. Hopefully this is a sign we're turning a corner. Dillon the Pickle is helping lead us out of dark times.
