Bama Crimsonettes Are Ready For Ole Miss, Clay's Father-Son Trip & 'F Joe Biden' Rolls On

It turns out you guys know a whole bunch about drinking!

Guess I have a new hot topic for Fridays around here. All I had to do was ask for weekend drink recommendations and Screencaps readers went nuts firing off suggestions to the inbox. You guys delivered.

In the old days of Screencaps before I brought this project to OutKick, I would receive drink suggestions from marketing agencies representing liquor brands. They would send a bottle of whiskey or vodka or whatever. Then I would mix up a drink -- Boilermakers were a hit and very dangerous -- and review it. The marketing agency would then send that link to the liquor brand proving they'd done their job and then the marketing agency would get paid.

Now you guys are the marketing agency. Screencaps isn't beholden to anyone other than the readers. You guys determine how the sausage gets made around here. This means we don't need to make a liquor brand happy with a review.

So here we go: Saturday's drink menu thanks to Screencaps readers. I'll pick a couple of these and take them to this afternoon's neighborhood football party:

• Chris D. suggests mixing up some 'Transfusions.' Chris writes: "Feel free to tweak on your level of sadness. I'm a Nebraska fan so I'm going double the vodka and half the amount of ginger beer haha."

-Concord Grape Juice--It HAS to be concord grape juice. The flavor of concord grape juice is different from your run of the mill stuff.
-Vodka
-Lime juice
-Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer

How to make it:

2.5 oz of Vodka
2 oz of concord grape juice
.5 oz of lime juice
Fill with ginger ale or ginger beer (add this last).

• Jami H. in Grand Prairie, Texas writes:

I used to just be a beer drinker, Then someone brought me some Western Son Vodka, Still drink beer but now I have a great plan B, Raspberry is my favorite.  https://westernsondistillery.com/home

• Jacob S., wants in on these drink suggestions:

Drink of the season has got to be cucumber vodka, lemonade, and water. I’m not sure if there is a formal name for this concoction, but you throw all 3 together. You hydrate, get the sweetness of lemonade, freshness of cucumber, and a pretty good buzz because these will go down like water.

• Mike T. in Idaho always has a great suggestion. The guy used to have a tiki bar, of course you should listen to his advice:

Tequila and diet Squirt is a Paloma ( I drink that a lot in Mexico) delicious and refreshing
Club soda and The Kraken, dark rum,  I call it “ The Hammer” smooth and delicious, but with a hit after a couple.

• MJ V. keeps it simple with this suggestion:

Normally, I drink IPAs. But, sometimes I just need something light to cleanse the palate. Well, the commercial that finally got me was for Corona Seltzer. Tried the original when they came out and recently they have Seltzer Limonada as well. Both are nice and refreshing without being sweet like many seltzer options.

I have a feeling seltzers won't go over well with this crowd. I understand. But if someone wanted to try one, these are my suggestion.

• Todd Z. has a hard seltzer smoothie suggestion:

Not new but newly distributed outside of Kentucky. It’s a non alcoholic soda drink - often said to be a mix between sprite and ginger ale. It’s my go to now…
