AUDIO: Cooper Manning Discusses Arch Manning Recruiting, Answers LSU Q

We mentioned recently that Arch Manning -- son of Cooper, nephew of Peyton and Eli, and grandson of Archie -- is going to be a monster recruiting over the next couple years. He's entering his sophomore season at Isidore Newman in New Orleans, after throwing 34 touchdown passes as a freshman. He has had a recent growth spurt.

His father, Cooper Manning, joined Off the Bench on ESPN Radio 104.5 in Louisiana last week, and answered a couple quick questions about recruiting:

Cooper laughed off a question about LSU; obviously Arch has grown up in New Orleans surrounded by many people who would love for him to play in Baton Rouge. The program is on fire now. It makes sense. Cooper also talked about how "meaningfully" recruiting has changed -- when Peyton was Arch's age, he apparently hadn't even gotten any recruiting letters yet.

According to 247, schools that are in the mix for Arch Manning include LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Duke and Georgia.

Here's Arch's freshman mixtape in case you haven't seen it yet:
