Arch Manning Has Shaky Night In Newman Win, Finishes Regular Season Undefeated

Arch Manning hasn't had many shaky nights in 2020, but he ran into one Friday night when he threw three interceptions in a 31-8 win over South Plaquemines. Cooper Manning's son, the top-ranked high school quarterback in the class of 2023, finished 23-of-36 for 229 yards with one touchdown and those three interceptions, but a solid night on the ground made up for the turnovers as Isidore Newman is now 8-0 and heading to the Louisiana state playoffs.

There have been only five other Newman teams in the school's history to go undefeated during a regular season, according to NOLA.com. Arch is now 17-1 as the team's quarterback. Through eight games this season, he's 117-of163 for 1,624 yards, 19 touchdown passes and seven interceptions.

In 2019, Manning went 9-1 and he had 2,438 yards passing and 34 touchdowns to just six interceptions.
