Hard to root against a dude with a sense of humor. McCutchen may have been poking fun at how boring it is playing in front a bunch of cardboard fans. Athletes speak routinely on the importance of fans, making Cutch’s joke not only funny…but true.
We can only hope more players get creative to get some people in the stands!
