Andre Agassi Heaps Praise On Tennis Royalty, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Andre Agassi is a tennis legend, which makes his praise of other tennis greats count for something. And Agassi has some high praise for Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

“I played Roger in the finals of the 2005 US Open. There was no safe place in the court. At that time, he probably had the best forehand in the world," Agassi recently said in response to a fan's question.

Nadal is no joke, either, Agassi said.

“Rafa comes along and he brings such enormous spin to the game that actually changes the rules of engagement," Agassi said. "He can hit the ball, and it’s not in until it bounces. That changes positions in the court and where you can play. Plus his power of movement, strength, endurance, and physicality is unmatched."

Agassi, 51, is the world's former No. 1 ranked player and the winner of eight Grand Slam events. He won a whole heck of a lot by consistently using pure power on a majority of his shots.
