Sen. Ted Cruz Shares Questions That Didn't Make The Cut For Impeachment Trials, And They're Great

President Donald J. Trump was acquitted by the Senate on Saturday in his second impeachment trial. The final vote was 57-43 in favor of impeachment, but the attempt still fell way short of the needed super majority.

That is obviously serious -- and good -- news, but we'll turn to a funnier note. While waiting on the impeachment trial to start, Senator Ted Cruz took to Twitter to share what was going on.

That's not what we're talking about, though. We're here to look at some of the tweets Cruz made to pass the time. He shared some of the questions that didn't make the cut to be asked on Friday, and it was ... interesting.

There were actual questions submitted by Senators. Speaking of chaos, Senator Cruz. Try to imagine how wild -- and entertaining -- things would've gotten, had some of these questions been allowed.

We need more of this from senators. Share some of the stuff we don't get to see.
