MSNBC Host Awkwardly Likens Biggie Song To COVID

“COVID’s dangerous. It’s lethal. It’s a bit like the beef Notorious B.I.G. used to rap about when he said ‘beef is when your moms ain’t safe up in the streets.'”

MSNBC host Ari Melber actually said those words on air. It gets better:

“‘Beef is when I see you guaranteed to be in ICU ,'” Melber continues to rap. “Well when COVID sees you, you can end up in ICU. Maybe not at the same rate as Biggie’s beef, but that’s the point about risk. You don’t want to test these streets and risk ending up in the ICU.”

Take a look at Melber in action:

How do you like that?

I'm not sure what this was meant to accomplish, but it appears Melber just can't resist. In February, Melber referenced Jay-Z’s “What It Feels Like” in response to U.S. Capitol rioters. How helpful.

Melber also once proudly coined the phrase, "We started from the Biden, now we are here."

He may be a far-Left TV host in the afternoon, but he cannot hide his hip-hop aspirations.

Say what you want about Rachel Maddow, but now you may better understand why MSNBC cannot lose her next year. The network's bench is full of Ari Melbers -- those don't cut it.
