Clay Travis: CDC Again Proves To Be Embarrassingly Clueless
Next time the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gets something right on the coronavirus will be the first time.
At least, that is the opinion of OutKick founder Clay Travis, who questioned why we even need the CDC. After all, when it comes to COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines, the CDC seemingly has been efficient at just one thing -- moving the goal posts.
On Wednesday, the CDC said that PCR tests aren't needed after an individual exits quarantine, as PCR tests can continue to give a positive test result for up to 12 weeks. So what's the point?
"Why do we even have a CDC at all?" Clay tweeted. "They get everything wrong. This is beyond embarrassing."
The latest developments come less than 48 hours after the CDC reduced the recommended quarantine period from 10 days to five days.
So yeah, what is supposed to be the voice of disease control is admitting, well, it doesn't really have a clue. But everyone, particularly the mainstream media, is determined to follow the CDC anyway. Or at least the CDC recommendations that fit the MSM's narrative. It ignores everything else.
"Pretend the CDC director and Fauci were football coaches instead of government medical 'experts,'" Clay tweeted. "Is there any way either person still has their job as football coach with all these failures? No way, right? So why in the hell are taxpayers still paying their salaries?"
