Before/After Beirut Port Satellite Images, Boat Lost A Trailer On I-75 & Bartman Cutout At Cubs Game

Observations from last night in MLB

I happened to catch the first inning of the Angels-Mariners game and got to see Mike Trout absolutely mash a ball on the outside corner over the centerfield fence on a line. It was typical majestic Trout liner. Just sounds different. It's easy to forget just how great the guy is since he's out in Los Angeles minding his business playing baseball and every now and then popping up at an Eagles game.

And then Albert Pujols came up and mashed one himself to get within two of Willie Mays. It was just one of those nights where I could watch an inning or two, get my fill and then fall asleep peacefully to get rested up for another day on the Internet.

Let's just hope that an ammonium nitrate depot doesn't explode today. Is that too much to ask?
