Alabama alum impaled on fence climbing out of apartment after Florida game

A Tri-Delt alum from the University of Alabama, was locked out of her friend's apartment after the Alabama-Florida game in Tuscaloosa this past Saturday night. Buoyed with joy over the Tide's dominant win over the Gators, the group attempted to climb the iron fence outside of the apartment.

It did not go well. At least not for one.

She slipped. On top of a wrought iron fence. When she slipped, she did so with such force that she became IMPALED on the fence. Yes, IMPALED. As in, the fence went entirely through her leg. (We have that close-up picture but decided to spare all of you).

But there are heroes here.

Her friends managed to find a bar stool to prop her up on until the paramedics arrived. The paramedics then had to cut the fence out, still impaled through her leg, and she had to have surgery to remove the iron post from her leg.

Don't worry, she's fine now.

Hell, better than fine. She's ready for the Iron Bowl already and it's only September!

I'll be covering games for Outkick @MattieLouOKTC starting next weekend in Oxford, but I'm not sure this is going to be topped.
