WATCH: Amy Schumer got Katie Couric's phone, then sexted her husband

Amy Schumer is a comedic genius -- easily one of the funniest actors working today.

She has a new movie out, which also features LeBron James and Bill Hader, called "Trainwreck."

Schumer was on Jimmy Fallon's show the other night to promote the film, and during the interview she told a hilarious story that broadcaster Katie Couric will never live down.

They were seated at the same table at Glamour's Women of the Year event when Couric, who just got done professing her love for Schumer's work, left to talk to her husband.

The problem: She left her cell phone at the table unlocked, with a text message screen with her husband open.

Schumer's instincts immediately take over, so of course she does the only thing a hilarious person like her would do: She sends an extremely awkward sexual text to Couric's husband.

Watch Schumer tell the story, which will easily be the funniest story you hear today.

How did it go with with Couric? She's already planning her revenge.

Amy Schumer wins again. Enjoy the weekend, everybody.
