Saints RB Alvin Kamara has tested positive and will be placed on Reserve/COVID, Adam Schefter reports. Kamara is out this Sunday and according to OutKick’s David J. Chao, ProFootballDoc, will not play in the opening round of the playoffs.
Unless @Saints are the #1 seed and get the bye, means Kamara out for first playoff game. https://t.co/zSwiglUX0a

The Saints still have a slim chance of earning the NFC’s top seed, which comes with a first-round bye. To do so, the Saints must win, the Seahawks also must win, and the Packers must lose. That means that the Bears would have to beat Aaron Rodgers, who might just be unbeatable right now.
If New Orleans is forced to go to battle without Kamara, expect them to be in diminished form. Along with Drew Brees and Michael Thomas, Kamara has been the Saints’ engine.
The Rams, Bears, Bucs, and Cardinals are all possible first-round opponents for the Saints.
Sending middle fingers to COVID, always.
I dont really see anyone making noise about Bucs Devin White, Shaq Barrett, and DT Steve McLendon all being on the COVID list and possibly missing the 1st round. That would be a huge loss.
Stupid. If he doesn’t have a fever, let him play. Has that not ALWAYS been the standard for being contagious?
