Alex Smith Enters Game

We didn't expect to see this today. In the second quarter, after Kyle Allen got banged up, Alex Smith entered the game at quarterback for the Washington Football Team.

Sunday, Smith is active for the first time in 693 days — after a knee injury many thought was career-ending.

Smith came into the day as QB No.2, ahead of Dwayne Haskins.

Regardless of how the next chapter ends, Alex Smith's return is one of the best football moments of the year.

This is awesome to see:

Good for him.
