Alabama Spring Game Missed Some Players

Alabama football's A-Day spring game wrapped up on Saturday and the Crimson Tide didn't have all their guys on the field.

Nick Saban hinted at the absence of a quarterback heading into the weekend, and TuscaloosaNews.com reports that as warmups began, freshman Jalen Milroe was the only quarterback to not take the field.

The article states that Brian Robinson Jr. was also absent on offense. The redshirt senior rushed for 483 yards and six touchdowns last season and is expected to compete for the starting role this season.

ESPN said around 20 players are not participating, per TuscaloosaNews.com

The first-team defense was missing some key returning guys including sophomore linebacker Will Anderson Jr. and junior linebacker Christian Harris, the article reads.
