Aaron Rodgers Sends Indirect Message By Liking Davante Adams’ Tweet

Aaron Rodgers is in a standoff with the Green Bay Packers.

After spending 16 seasons with the storied franchise, the reigning NFL MVP wants out of Wisconsin. He isn’t happy with the way some things have gone down in recent years, but the Packers have no interest in trading the star quarterback.

This showdown is heading for an interesting conclusion, but no one knows what that will entail. For now, all we can do is take the bits and pieces of information we’re given and try to figure out what it all means.

Rodgers hasn’t said anything publicly regarding the situation. He did make a subtle statement indirectly about his feelings when he recently liked a tweet from his star receiver Davante Adams.

On Monday afternoon, Adams tweeted “Gotta appreciate what u got while ya got it!” That sounds like a direct reference to Rodgers, right? I mean, I guess it’s possible that Adams is just a big fan of the band Cinderella, but that seems unlikely.

See, this is what happens when we start overanalyzing things. That tweet could mean a million things, and Rodgers liking it could mean a million more. But you at least have to admit that the timing of the tweet is interesting.

  1. I didn’t like it when Deshaun Watson demanded a trade and I don’t like it with Rodgers here either. You signed a contact.

Last time I checked – that is a consensual agreement to terms. You are getting paid a zillion dollars to play a game. Either hang it up or shut up
